Afterthought: The Man Who Saved Central City

After much excitement, I finally watched the first episode of The Flash season two. Please do not read until you have watched the episode!
There are some good character development here, I'll share some of them here.
1. Joe West still fulfilling his role as a dad to Barry Allen after months of letting him go solo, where Barry Allen almost got himself killed.
Here I'm glad he managed to talk Barry out of his guilt where he felt responsible for Ronnie's death.
2. Caitlyn, it's probably hardest on her to lose her lover once again. She also played a huge part in bringing back Barry Allen to work as a team. I did went teary-eyed when she mentioned how Ronnie asked her to leave STAR Labs and lead a normal life outside. Which she did refuse and mention that Ronnie would still be alive if she agreed that.

Point here is, like Joe West told Barry - everyone made their choices. Eddie chose to end his life to finish off Eobard Thawne. Ronnie chose to help with ending the singularity along with Martin Stein, although Barry only managed to end up saving one of them.

I'm sure this is not the last time we'll see Firestorm, but I'm curious on how they're gonna pass the baton onto the next half of Firestorm. Would love to hear what you think!
3. Cisco Ramon, your total go to guy for everything geek - sounds just like me. This is the start of Cisco playing a huge part in this season, being able to sense stuff from another timeline. It is no doubt something that The Flash needs, with who knows how much more time travel and multiverse stuff coming up. I'm getting positive vibes about this!

Moving on to the new character here, I'm unsure on the purpose of Jay Garrick appearing a few times before introducing himself. The Flash ceremony and when Barry was working - why was he taking pictures of Barry Allen? Please don't tell me that he's a fan of Barry Allen too.

Well, Jay Garrick made a great appearance at the new improved security STAR Labs where Cisco and team worked on was awesome! Imagine talking about no one being able to trespass into STAR Labs and there Jay Garrick is, here to warn that this world is in danger. I am really looking forward to the multiverse stuff.
