Phone camera showdown: iPhone 6S Plus and Galaxy Note 5

These two are probably are the best in the market right now. Both going different directions, but good in their own ways.

Low light performance
This goes to the Note 5 thanks to the larger aperture and you do get faster lens as well with the Note 5. However, I recommend always getting good lighting before taking a picture. Being blessed with a larger aperture doesn't mean you can shoot good pictures with really bad lighting. Photography is painting with light. Stay with me despite the lack of pictures but a video link will by DroidModderX will be down below showing you what I always meant.

HDR
Another win for Samsung, they bring out more details from their HDR shots and it works a lot better.

Focusing speed
Both have really good focusing speed for still images, but this is where the iPhone 6S Plus catches up. In video, the focusing speed is way faster than on the Note 5.

Selfie

The totally in-thing right now. Selfies, who doesn't take them? The Note 5 has a much wider angle when shooting which wins the iPhone 6S Plus. However, one thing I did not like as well is the beauty mode on the Note 5. It does smoothen out your skin but it tooks way too unnatural for me.
