With the new iOS 9 updates, there’s a setting under WiFi called” WiFi Assist”. Be wary of this if you have data or go on a prepaid data service, this will automatically use your data if they sense a poor Wi-Fi connection.
This will use your cellular data when WiFi connection is poor to ensure constant connectivity. This is a double-edged sword but good for those with high data plans.
